Short Bio

Evelyn Jorgenson is an active artist, relishing the beautiful outdoors, and painting in acrylic and watercolor and creating collages. Whether doing impressionistic paintings or abstract art, her influence is always the natural world and its endless beauty.

Statement

I believe we all need to see and feel the beauty of the world around us. Too often, we forget to see, truly see, the beauty in our physical world and in the people around us. Art helps us do just that. If we pause to see an artistic interpretation, an impression masterfully painted and we find the artwork that moves us, asks us to think, causes us to question and understand in a new way, then I believe that I (and other artists) have succeeded.
